Taken 30 December 2003;
1 & 2 January 2004

    Notes: The year ended with a major snowstorm. Fortunately we were warm and had enough food. Some photos of the storms and their aftermath are here.

December 30: Snow on the table on the south patio
December 30: Snow piling up by the south door.
December 30: A look at the sanctuary buried in snow.
December 30: Icicles on the garage door lights and snow piling on the pump PVs.
December 30: Another look at the sanctuary buried in snow.
December 30: A view south out the bedroom window at the winter wonderland.
January 1: A fire in the hearth, the tree still up and the snow settling in outside makes a nice new years.
January 1:  Piles of snow in the courtyard. It took me 9 days to get the Honda unstuck and dug out.
January 1: Erin watches the snow in the courtyard. The depth of the snow underneath the overhang and on the windows gives some measure of the winds we were experiencing.
January 2: The cornice over the rock wall meets the pile of snow from the courtyard ground. We considered doing a Ruschblock test to determine if an unstable layer existed, but went and had dinner instead.
January 2: The wingtips of the gargoyle and the top of the rock art are just barely visible through the snow.
