Taken December 31, 2004

Notes:  The BIG dump to blow out 2004. Talk about going out in style. No snow for months and then this. Pretty neat. At least if you don't have to go anywhere.

December 31: That's the table under 2' of fresh snow. The wall our there is covered as well.

December 31: The view around the south side of the house. Big piles on the beams and everywhere. Hard to walk in.

December 31: View around the west side, note bottoms of windows are covered.

December 31: View of the west side of the house.

December 31: Miss Mica burrowing her way through the snow fall taller than she is. And always with the ball in her mouth.

December 31: What I spent my new year's weekend doing... and lots of it.

December 31: A (barely visible) dog in the snow, only the head and tail show.

December 31: A girl and her dog (dog still has ball in mouth). . .

December 31: . . . heading off for a walk around the house. Seen only hours later.

December 31: Dog with solar panels. Note that the well cap is almost buried by the snow around it. The pole normally is over 6' out of the ground.

December 31: Earlier in the morning, note big piles of snow on west greatroom roof. This started coming down later.

December 31: Afternoon, as the sun warms things, huge chunks were calving off the roof. Note the pieces caught falling.

December 31: Also the south side, in the morning the panels are covered.

December 31: And in the afternoon, mostly cleared by the sun's warmth.
