PV Installation Photos 4
Taken July 18, 19, 25 and 26, 2005

Notes:  The first two days were for wiring. Wired the sun sensors, the N-S actuator motors, and the big job of installing the conduit and wire for the PV strings. Then started the run of the combined string runs down to the combiner boxes, and testing the range of motion to see that we have enough flex in the conduit to allow the full range of movement in the system.

July 18: Tightening the screws on the wiring in the boxes.

July 18: Complete string of PVs with conduit.

July 18: Placing the sun seeking sensor.

July 18: Sensor installed.

July 25: Testing that the grounding wire has enough flex.

July 25: Fully positioned to the east at the rising sun.

July 25: Starting the conduit runs back to to the combiner boxes.

July 26: Full runs to two strings.

July 26: Testing that the conduit has full range of motion. Axis motor is fully east in this photo.

July 26: Another look at the conduit from the panels.
